Thunder Soul

This is one of my favorite documentaries in a year where I saw many good ones. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you want to get out of your seat and shake it - not that I ever do that but whatever.

The movie is about the incredible 70's Texas high school funk band led by the dapper Prof Johnson. As a tribute to the man, the former bandmates decided to reunite to honor the 92-year-old Prof. The movie tells that story as well as weaving in interviews about the golden days and plenty of great footage and music.
