Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Eh.

I liked parts of it. It looked really good. And there were some truly inventive moments. But it was way too long. It's been a couple of months since I've seen this so I can't even remember that much about it other than the first third was a lot more fun than the rest. And that I'm sick of Michael Cera. By a lot.

In general, I enjoyed it, but there's a common problem in it that drives me crazy. If the script has a girl liking a guy their has to be a reason for the girl to like the guy beyond the fact that the girl needs to like the guy in order for the plot to move forward. Cera is almost entirely unlikeable for most of the film. And honestly. he looks really really really weird. Man-boy mis-shapen flesh. Erg.

But i still enjoyed it. I was a video game kid and I loved how it essentially was just a big goofy video game.
