Michael Winterbottom's movies are always fascinating. I really like the way he blends real footage with cinema verite-like fictionalized action. His movies feel completely unique.
Despite this film not being one of my favorites of his (granted I only see about one out of every three), it is well worth seeing. Like United 93, this film turns a tragedy (the Daniel Pearl beheading) into a suspenseful thriller. Even though you know how it's going to turn out, you can't stop rooting for the good guys.
Angelina Jolie ruined the mood for me though.
